LandUnit India provides browser-based calculators for converting common area units such as square feet, square yards (gaj), acre, hectare, cent, guntha and decimal, along with traditional units used in different parts of India.

Why regional context matters

Traditional units including bigha, biswa, katha, kanal and marla are not necessarily uniform across India. Our pages therefore highlight regional context and encourage users to verify important measurements against official land records or qualified professionals.

Our approach
